Caring Communities were developed under the auspices of the Leaders Roundtable and have
been in existence since 1991.
The six regional Caring Communities in Multnomah County are voluntary networks that mutually support collaborative activities
and information sharing.
Caring Community activities support improved service delivery , access to services, and increased community engagement
towards an overall goal to improve academic succcess. They are designed to allow communities to tailor their approaches to
individual community contexts, needs, goals and strengths.
